Led by their rowdy front men, the late Luke Kelly and Ronnie Drew, the Dubliners took the Irish folk scene by storm and in the process, set the standard for Irish "folk" music - then and now. The origins of the band are a little fuzzy as they really started as a loose session group which got together on the fledgling Dublin ballad scene.
